La première est de faire le trajet en bateau depuis un des trois ports de Tanzanie ( Dar essalam, String, Pemba) et vous rendre au port de Stone town, la capitale de Zanzibar, à deux heures de route; une balade sympathique qui permet de s’oublier et de se relaxer sur les houles de l’océan Indien.
L’autre moyen est de prendre l’avion à partir de l’aéroport de Kilimandjaro, à la frontière avec le Kenya.
Le voyage dure environ une heure. Sinon, il est possible de décoller de Dar Essalam pour un trajet beaucoup plus court (tout juste 20 minutes).
L’aéroport d’arrivée est situé au sud de la ville de Stone Town.
Vous pourrez ensuite rejoindre très facilement les hôtels de l’île en prenant un taxi à la sortie de l’aéroport.
Donc, si vous êtes patient, et que vous voulez voguer sur l’ eau, prenez le bateau. Dans le cas contraire, prenez un billet d’avion!
